What a ride, Molecule family.

Twelve years ago, Mark and I took countless conversations, scribbled napkins, and a whole lot of ideas and turned them into The Molecule Effect. We wanted to mix coffee, wine, art, and community together and see what kind of chemistry we could create.

And wow, did we create some chemistry.

With you. With our staff. With everyone who walked through our doors and brought something of themselves into this place.

There have been friendships, first dates that turned into marriages, papers signed on new homes, music shared, art discovered, and more conversations and laughs than we could ever count. Somewhere in all of that, our idea became part of other people’s stories—and you became part of ours.

Now, Mark and I have decided it’s time for our next adventure. An opportunity presented itself, and we took it. The Molecule Effect’s last day open will be Sunday, October 4.

Twelve years of building, learning, figuring things out, having fun, and occasionally wondering what we’d gotten ourselves into. It has challenged us, changed us, and given us so much to be proud of. That is worth celebrating.

We know this place means something to many of you. It means a whole lot to us, too. We’ll always treasure having created a space where people could feel welcome, find their people, and be themselves.

To every customer, employee, artist, musician, neighbor, and friend who has been part of this journey: thank you. For showing up, for supporting us, and for bringing this place to life.

Come see us before we close Sunday. Grab your favorite drink, share a story, have a laugh, and help us celebrate a time very well spent.

You are a big part of our life story. What a wonderful chapter you’ve helped us write.

With love and so much gratitude,

Megyn & Mark
